for everyone
Cascading shadows flow aimlessly down rock face surface
tortured seconds pass before the sun escapes the grasp of time
motion blur encompasses the sun drenched mesa overlook
as the misconceptions of flight glide past lives away
moment by moment we see the degrees in which we breathe
caught in dry throats the words responsible for salvation lost
lone thoughts ricochet through the mid afternoon bloom
the purveyors of fresh air policy flying deep into shallow sky
as often is the case the lace covers the eyes of the guilty
moving down further beyond the municipal watering hole
the words of the saying of the very definition is absent
for warned the flock of followers of time lose sight within seconds
hands across the bare chest beauty of a tumbleweed parade
holding out hope for a new age consciousness awakening
we debate the rate at which we can discern the flow of blame
clock faces melting across a sea of dust bowl iniquity
the maize of colours shifts bright blood red and bruised blue
the existence of existence in a state of indecision
as the anchors of law and decency come unhinged
the broken bottle diplomacy of the late afternoon
begins and begins and ends where it rends
the parts and pieces of planet ego shatter across time
and space defined by the existence of a matter of facts
and it figures into the shadows of a broken branch
casting out solace in a small fragment of comfort
in the boiling trenches of sun high days and
cold moon lows the wind blows the timid down
superego assurances a facade of inner light coping
knockin on havens doors the forgotten roam in silence
tears of dust rolls down dehydrated faces in the crowd
as the id of a species reenacts the infancy of a life
the faults of a dry desert landscape crack even deeper
the dust storm havoc reaches fever pitch
as the crowd stares deep into sun
the bearings of society shift
and are lost amid distrust
as the power of life
is usurped by the
false power
of man
that in
the end
is only
dust in
the
wind...
